HERE WE GO AGAIN ! ......
Please check out what we are working on for 2012. Allow us to iron our details here in the coming weeks. We will be looking for additional sponsors, filing permits and gathering information about what can be afforded our visitors at this years event. Please remember that we are trying to keep the reins on this event and grow it from the ground up by dealing with some really great local businesses and keeping it grounded to a foundation on good solid soil. We want the event to grow and we want to provide a great time for all who come to be a part of things.
Below you will find just a sample of the things we have been working on so far. Please review the plans and call the Commander Hotel to make your reservations and stay with us, get to know us and help us build this event to just what you, the participants want it to be.
Lastly and very importantly, please remember that The Commander Hotel is the host hotel and the primary provider of funds for this event. We need to support the Commander and keep spreading the word. Lets fill the place up and show them what type of folks the JEEP community represents. Show them that the support and effort they have put forth has not gone unnoticed.
Thanks for your Support....Sack *Broken Wing Productions LLC
Here's what we are working on............
Thursday August 23rd:
3pm - 5pm Registration at The Commander
5pm-9pm - The "Meet and Greet" and the "Welcome to OC Party" at Seacrets have been combined into one event. You will still be provided the opportunity to meet some of the staff that puts this event together, some of our sponsors and to link up with friends and other Jeep enthusiasts.
The only difference is that you will be doing so at Seacrets!
There will be a number of Jeeps on display and much more room for us to celebrate OCJW 2012.
Live music by "POWER PLAY", great food and drink. Along with everything else that Seacrets has to offer. We will be collecting the cover charges from the door and making a donation to support the efforts of "The Children's Burn Camp at Camp Barnes".
This camp provides children who have suffered injuries and disfigurement from burns an opportunity to go to camp without feeling as outcasts or being uncomfortable about or self-conscious about themselves. It is a wonderful program and one that we are proud to support. We also want to thank Seacrets for allowing us to put this togerther and for supporting OCJW 2012

Sunday August 26th :
The ESJA Land Tour 2012 - This is where the members of the Eastern Shore Jeep Association allow us to come out and visit them at their private land and trail ride with them. They have agreed to drop the standard entry fee for anyone who registers as an OCJW participant.
There will be two tours.....Both will leave from the Wal-Mart parking lot on Samuel Bowen Blvd. just off Route 50 in Berlin Maryland. The Parking lot is just 4 miles west of the Route 50 Draw Bridge in OC and is accessed by using Samuel Bowen Blvd.
The first convoy is slated to leave at 10am and a second convoy will leave at 2pm. (We had to make 2 tours due to the number of pre-registered participants).
So there you have it....that's what we are looking at for 2012.
We are trying our best to keep this a fee free event, we will have 2012 and 2011 event t-shirts available for purchase. We ask that you support our great sponsors and take the time to visit with them at their establishments. Without them and the Commander Hotel we would not be able to put the event on.
We also want to pay a special point of acknowledgment to the membership of the Eastern Shore Jeep Association for partnering up with us.
Pre-Registration will be made available via the internet as soon as all of the plans are ironed out and etched in stone. This will provide us a way of knowing what to expect number-wise for each event. Last year there were close to 500 registered participants and this year we are already being pounded with e-mails and Facebook posts trying to gain information about 2012.
Please stay tuned and check back with us on this site for updates and details. It is gonna be a great time and we look forward to putting it all together.
Thanks for your continued support!
